The goal of our accredited inpatient treatment center is to provide a safe place for addiction treatment to those who need it.
At the Victorious Journey Recovery Center, our inpatient residential programs provide patients a place to heal and grow. And while no inpatient treatment program can “cure” addiction, we proudly give patients the tools to face their mental health and substance abuse issues. Below, we will outline our different types of inpatient treatment and how our treatment facility empowers patients to achieve recovery.
At the core of our inpatient treatment programming, we address trauma and the mental health effects that it can have on people. Why? Because trauma leads to addiction for countless people. Moreover, addiction often leads to further trauma, which creates a vicious circle that can be difficult to escape. And while we will work to treat the addiction, we also want to address the underlying issues. In this way, we give our patients the opportunity for comprehensive, holistic healing.
At the Victorious Journey Recovery Center, we offer two unique inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs: Residential Rehab and Intensive Inpatient Treatment. As you read, bear in mind that each program uses treatment modalities described on this page. But let’s take a look at which of these programs is right for you or your loved one.
This level of care best suits patients who experience behavioral issues on top of their substance use disorder diagnosis. Here, our interdisciplinary care staff helps patients learn life skills that will help patients develop real-life skills that will empower them post-treatment. This rigorous residential treatment program combines intensive substance abuse treatment with mental health assistance for co-occurring challenges. And together, these two strategies treat addiction at its roots to ensure that patients can avoid relapses and achieve long-term sobriety.
Our residential rehabilitation program is ideal for patients who have experienced drastic adverse effects from long-term substance abuse. This includes patients who may have lost relationships, gotten into legal trouble, or experienced other major issues due to alcohol and drug abuse. Your addiction recovery treatment will focus on learning coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and regaining control of your day-to-day life.
While we tailor treatment plans to each patient’s personal history and needs, we do offer certain concrete inpatient treatment options. Depending on the patient, these treatments may address drug addiction, alcohol addiction, or behavioral health issues. Some of these evidence-based treatment modalities include:
While group therapy works to help patients build strong interpersonal relationships, our commitment to peer support does not end there. The Victorious Journey Recovery Center facilitates peer support groups that create a space for patients to be vulnerable, speak openly about their experiences, and follow a framework for practicing new recovery-oriented views and behaviors.
We offer the following peer recovery groups as part of our inpatient care:
While all inpatient treatments at the Victorious Journey Recovery Center are evidence-based, these therapies are less traditional. They exist to supplement our other treatment modalities to create an all-encompassing environment of healing. These treatments include:
As all quality inpatient rehabs will attest, addiction recovery is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer two special treatment options for patients who need care not provided by our standard treatment modalities. These tracks include:
Our chronic pain recovery track utilizes a unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach that distinguishes between pain and the mental suffering that it generates. While pain may be unavoidable for those with chronic pain, suffering is not. While we cannot cure chronic pain, this program can show patients new techniques and practices that promote improved daily function and quality of life.
In combination with our CAM services, patients practice various cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and physical strategies that reduce the intensity of chronic pain, and thus weaken their relationship to addiction.
